Weights Volumes Temperatures

In kitchen you will have to deal with 3 kinds of measurement units:

Weights are basically measured with weighing scale. Most common French units are gram (g) and kilogram (kg). US units are ounce (oz) and pound (lb).
1 ounce = 28.34 grams
1 pound = 0.453 kilograms
1 g = 0.035 oz
1 kg = 2.2 lb

Volumes are measured with a graduated glass. Most common French units are liter (l), centiliter (cl) and milliliter (ml). US units are cup (cp), fluid ounces (fl oz), tablespoon (Tbsp) teaspoon (tsp)
1 cup = 0.237 liter
1 fluid ounce = 29,6 milliliters
1 Tablespoon = 14.8 milliliters
1 teaspoon = 4.93 milliliters

For oven temperatures French is using degree Celscius the US are commonly using degree Fahrenheit C = 5/9*(F-32) or inversely F=9/5*C+32
95°F=35°C
212°F=100°C
356°F=180°C
392°F=200°C
482°F=250°C
536°F=280°C
